Wildship Studio is a Grand Rapids, Michigan-based studio that creates illustrated goods for the wild at heart.

Each product is designed to embrace your inner wild while bringing you closer to the outer wild, all the while being as eco-friendly as possible. We’re all about finding the kinship and unbridled beauty between ourselves, flowers, and beast. That is what we call Wildship.

A hand-painted process

All of our products are designed by BreeAnn Veenstra and start as hand-drawn or hand-painted original works. These are typically painted in a combination of gouache, watercolor, and pen & ink with occasional digital painting and editing.

Our paper goods are products that BreeAnn has personally printed on high quality and eco-friendly materials, while our non-paper goods are sourced using trusted (and often local) businesses.

Eco-friendly materials

We’ve got mad love for the earth and source environmentally friendly and sustainable materials whenever possible. That's why our products are printed on papers that are both FSC Certified and Rainforest Alliance Certified™, and our stationery envelopes contain 30% post-consumer waste. This essentially means the papers we use come from responsibly managed forests that are audited to meet high standards of environmental, social, and economic sustainability.

Our rigid shipping mailers are made from recycled materials and can go right back in the recycling stream when you’re done with them. With most wholesale orders, we like to re-use shipping boxes and materials whenever possible to cut down on introducing new waste. Even the packing tape we use is entirely plant-derived, renewable, and naturally biodegradable. How cool is that?
